Homes in Bristol were without power this morning as there is a fault on the low voltage network area. The power outage occurred at 6am this morning and was resolved just before 9am.
Bristol postcodes affected include BS4 2SJ, and BS4 2SL. The National Grid are posting regular updates to the public as progress is made to resolve the issue.
Up to 1000 properties were initially affected, reports on social media suggested. The final 55 properties had their power restored just before 9am
The National Grid website stated: “We are aware of this power cut outage which was raised at 6:02am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.
“We successfully restored all supplies in the area by 8:51am this morning. We are sorry for any inconvenience that was caused by the power cut.”
