Three suspected arsonists are sought for allegedly setting a Pickering variety store on fire twice last spring.
And investigators have now released images of the trio hoping someone will recognize them and come forward.
Durham Regional Police say the first fire at Bay Ridges Market at Krosno Blvd. and Liverpool Rd. – south of Bayly St. – occurred around 3:15 a.m. on May 8.
Three males broke the front glass door of the business, poured a flammable substance on the floor, set it on fire and then fled the scene.
Police say several arsonists struck again at the same convenience store less than two weeks later, on May 19, around 5 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a black male, with a slim build, who was wearing a black mask, black Nike hoodie, black pants and black shoes.
The second suspect is described as a black male, with a medium build, who was wearing a black puffer jacket, black hoodie, black pants, and black and white shoes.
The third suspect is described as a black male, with a slim, who was wearing a black Nike Hoodie, black pants, long white socks, black shoes and white gloves.
