Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Co Armagh.
It’s understood the collision happened on the Killylea Road – around two miles outside Killylea -shortly before 1pm on Friday.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Road users are advised that the Killylea Road outside Killylea is closed following a serious road traffic collision. Please avoid the area.”
Traffic is being diverted through Killylea village.
The NIFRS and NIAS have been contacted.
It comes as the families of six people who died on our roads over the last week prepare to bury their loved ones.
Dungannon man Edmund Hughes – known as Ned – was laid to rest earlier on Friday.
He was struck by a vehicle on December 20 as he walked along John Street in Dungannon. He was taken to hospital, but died from his injuries.
