Brompton shared that there had been 15 reports relating to this issue, although no reports of injury.

Owners have been advised to “cease using [their T-Line bicycles] immediately” while the safety issue is addressed.
Britons can verify if their bicycle is impacted by visiting Brompton’s dedicated recall webpage.
The recall website can be found at brompton.com/legal/t-line-recall, where owners can input their serial numbers for verification.
Brompton is offering two repair options to address the safety concern.
Owners can visit their local authorised Brompton dealer for a free repair service.
Alternatively, customers can perform the repair at home by following step-by-step instructions available on Brompton’s website.
The repair involves increasing the torque to 7Nm on the four steerer clamp hinge bolts, which requires a calibrated torque wrench.
