Due to his increasing unpopularity, Sir Keir Starmer has been forced to relaunch his nascent government’s plans for the nation.

The pre-election promises he was elected upon to deliver have become more than a 150-day Government itch; they are a full-blown political abscess oozing with mendacity and many suppurative unforeseen schemes!

Starmer has reached a pivotal watershed in his Premiership much sooner than expected and has decided to shake things up.

On the day ‘Muhammad’ was revealed as the UK’s most popular boy’s name, Keir Starmer took to a podium at Pinewood Film Studios to retell how badly the Tories failed on immigration, the economy, and the NHS.

He also claimed that the Labour Party was the only one to fix the inherited situation.

Surrounded by his front bench of clueless, inept, myopic ministerial lemmings, all programmed to blame the previous administration for Labour inheriting a massive black hole of debt, left with the NHS on its knees and a record number of legal and illegal immigrants.

Massively short on practical solutions or tactical substance, the Prime Minister espoused six re-vamped milestones he promises to reach, in his usual ‘not my fault guv’ style of delivery.

1. Deliver higher, real household disposable income and GDP per capita by the end of this Parliament to achieve the highest economic growth in the G7 group of nations.

2. Build 1.5 million new homes in England and faster-tracking planning decisions.

3. Ensure 92 per cent of patients in England wait no longer than 18 weeks for treatment.

4. Recruit 13,000 additional officers, PCSOs and special constables in neighbourhood roles in England and Wales, with a named officer for every community.

5. Reach a record 75 per cent of five-year-olds in England ready to learn before they start school.

6. Be “on track” to deliver at least 95 per cent clean power by 2030.

Keir StarmerStarmer’s milestone missions focused on key areas of national development, excluding immigration concerns.GB News

Our Prime Minister said on ‘X’: “We were elected with a mandate of change.” Remember, Labour got just 33.7 per cent of the nation’s vote share in the general election.

He said: “The next phase of mission-led government continues our relentless focus on delivering for working people. Our ‘Plan for Change’ sets ambitious, achievable milestones to improve people’s lives nationwide.”

Sir Keir Starmer pledged his government would “reduce immigration—legal and illegal” but stopped short of setting targets.

He said cutting immigration “will only be done with a serious plan” and—referring to “illegal” immigration—repeated his argument that the only way to do this would be to go after people smuggling gangs running the “vile trade.”

But still, there is no sign of a plan to reduce immigration! It’s clear that, like the Tory Party, Labour has no idea how to control our borders. He did not cite targets in his six pledges because reducing this was one of the “foundational things a government must do.”

I’ve voted in 13 general elections and always accepted the outcome, whatever the political flavour of the party that won.

But I, along with so many others I talk with, believe that Labour will continue to plummet in national approval, destroying the UK’s economy and social cohesion as Starmer falls further into disgrace.

I struggle to accept that Starmer et al. can deliver growth, prosperity, and security ideas that will work. The quality of the politicians involved is worse than deplorable.

The massively unpopular Starmer says he expects to be judged on his ability. Yet, this word salad re-set speech showed no innovation, objectivity, or evidence of any believable ability to achieve these costly fairy-tale pledges.

No timescales were set for these milestone promises either. It was, however, overflowing with vigorous abuse toward the previous government.

He seems pretty adept at insults and blaming others. After 18 years in exile, you would expect these Labour politicos to be hungry to improve our lives.

All the evidence shows that being in power is their top priority —seemingly their only priority— alongside increased spending on more talking shops and reviews.

And if their approach makes us as individuals, businesses and the nation poorer, colder and even more insecure, these politicians will not lose any sleep worrying. They have genuinely forgotten they work for us in our devalued, declining democratic society.
