It’s less than a week away but we wanted to send you early wishes on a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

Light Up the Dark
Immerse yourself in a dazzling celebration of light and artistry with mesmerizing animations ranging from digital to stop-motion, made by talented OCAD students.
There will also be pop-up performances, exciting workshops, scrumptious bites and warm drinks to be enjoyed.
Check out the radiant displays at the Aga Khan Museum at 77 Wynford Dr. from Friday to Sunday at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Polar Bear Skate
Gather your courageous, cold weather-loving friends, strip down to your skivvies and spin around the 220-metre figure-eight skate trail.
Donations of warm winter clothing will also be collected by New Circles Community Services and distributed to local individuals and families in need.
Head to The Bentway on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Home Network and Flavour Network Holiday Skate
Visitors can enjoy complimentary skate rentals and hot beverages (while supplies last), courtesy of Home Network and Flavour Network during the Skate Trail opening hours (while supplies last).
Glide over to The Bentway from Sunday to Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Public Art Tour

Victorian Christmas
Christmas isn’t over as guests can step back in time to 1899 to see how early settler families celebrated the season with tours, crafts, a storytime walk and singing.
There is no additional charge to participate after the purchase of a park daily vehicle permit.
Head to Spruce Lane Farm and Farmhouse at Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville from Friday to Monday and again from Jan. 2 to Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Model Railroad Club of Toronto Holiday Show
For those fascinated with locomotives or looking for a new hobby, this is the show for you. It appeals to the sense of wonder and discovery of people of all ages, as it explores the innovation, technology, artistry and history.
Chug over to the Model Railroad Club of Toronto at 11 Curity Ave. in Toronto on Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Salute To 2025! New Year’s Gala
