With the first Black Friday deals for 2024 launching a full 32 days before the shopping mega-event, bargain hunters might have expected a few key brands to chance their arm early with some pre-Christmas deals for last-minute shopping. However, as of this morning, a host of major retailers have pushed the button on some of the biggest deals of the year so far, includingDyson,Ninja,Shark,Debenhams,Oodie,UggandRoman,with some discounts equalling or better than the November sales.
Not only can shoppers treat themselves to a host of essentials and nice-to-haves, but there’s also the chance to snap up chunky savings on last-minute gifts for family or friends if you’re ok with waiting for delivery. Here’s our pick of some of the biggest deals so far.
Dyson
If you’ve got your eye on high-powered hair gadgets are the standout deal in Dyson’s Boxing Day sale, alongside heaters, air purifiers and of course the iconic vacuums that started it all.
Beauty wise, limited edition colours and complimentary extras with purchase are available for a host of their bestsellers, alongside £50 off the Dyson Airstrait while you can also get £70 off the Supersonic hairdryer plus a free storage case. But if you’re looking to start spring cleaning early for 2025 there’s a huge £170 off the Gen5Detect vacuum while their entry level V8 model is £120 off taking it to £209.
Ninja
The kitchen gadget gurus are finishing up a busy year where they’ve launched dozens of new products with a sale on many of the most-popular lines. While not all the discounts are better-than-Black Friday there’s still savings of up to £90 on many of their best-loved air fryers and multi-cookers. Meanwhile, the Ninja DoubleStack which has a narrow footprint but double height for cooking and proved a hit with shoppers struggling for counter spaces in smaller kitchens, is not only £70 but also comes with freebies thrown in including silicone tongs and an apron.
Shoppers are also rushing to pick up some of their lower ticket items, including knife blocks, kettles (including this one which is now at its lowest ever price) and travel bottles reduced by 33% to £19.99.
Shark
A brand worth looking at for anyone with one eye on a post-Christmas clean, Shark has slashed up to £150 off some of its most popular vacuums in its Boxing Day sale, including high-powered robot and pet hair models. The WandVac cordless vacuum loved by Mrs Hinch sold out for Black Friday is not only back in stock but also down to £99.99, taking a huge £80 off. Beauty buffs also have a lot to celebrate with not only deals on the brand’s SpeedStyle hairdryer and SmoothStyle hot brush, but also a saving off the on-trend Wicked themed FlexStyle multi-tool, now reduced to £229.99.
Debenhams
Debenhams may have disappeared from the high street but savvy shoppers have known for ages that the brand’s website is a great place to pick up huge discounts on branded and unbranded goods alike. Their Blue Cross sale is offering up to 70% off with an extra 20% off 10,000 lines and with everything from designer watches reduced from £2,295 to £267 to perfume and bedlinen there’s plenty of interest.
Oodie
Oodie was notable for giving some of the biggest discounts on Black Friday, thrilling shoppers by taking a huge 50% off everything site wide. While the Oodie Boxing Day sale doesn’t include everything this time, there’s actually better-than-Black Friday savings to be had on many of their hero products. Highlights include the original Oodie reduced to £29 making it 55% off, Outdoor Oodies down to £54.50 and half price puffer boots.
Amazon
While Amazon is where many of us will go to pick up those last forgotten bits as the minutes tick away, even once the last order dates have passed there’s plenty to look at. Their sale is on Amazon devices, which feels like a limited selection until you remember that in recent years that has expanded to include everything from tablets to smart TVs as well as brands like Ring and Blink smart home and security tech.
Ugg
A festive staple for many, Ugg has cut the price of some of its bestselling slippers by 30%.cosy clogs in a range of colours and sizes are also reduced from £140 to £98. There are plenty of other options inUgg’s Winter Sale,though, with indoor and outdoor footwear for men, women, and children all heavily discounted—including the brand’sEssential Mini Classic Boot.
Roman
Not only has Roman launched their sale early, including everything from partywear to PJs and wardrobe staples but they’re also offering 99p next day delivery and an additional 10% off for a limited time. There’s coats reduced by up to 41%, including this stylish and warm faux fur aviator jacket reduced to £35 from £60.
Face the Future
If you’re looking to save on premium skincare Face the Future’s winter sale of up to 40% off brands including ESPA, NEOM, Olaplex and Augustinus Bader is the first major beauty brand to look at with some solid discounts both when topping up on beauty essentials and also gift options like NEOM’s Wellbeing Pod. Boots, notoriously, doesn’t launch their sale for a while yet although they have also launched some early deals on gift sets here.
