Tyson Fury has suggested he won’t be appealing, despite being left unhappy following his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.
Appeals are rare in boxing but the 36-year-old’s promoter, Frank Warren, has done so in the past.
Warren, who was also left furious by the judges’ decision to score the fight in Usyk’s favour, previously did so after Daniel Dubois’ defeat to the Ukrainian last year.
The 72-year-old wanted the clash to be ruled a no contest, while also demanding a rematch, only for the WBA to dismiss his complaints.

And Fury has now confirmed that, while he’s not in agreement with the judges, he’s already forced himself to accept the defeat.
“I was confident I had won that fight again. I thought I’d won both fights, but then again I’ve gone home with two losses on my record,” he said, referring to his first loss to Usyk back in May.
“I will always believe until the day I die that I won that fight.
“I’m not going to cry over spilt milk. It’s happened now. I know boxing, I’ve been in it all my life and you can’t change no decisions.”

Warren didn’t mince his words when quizzed on the result.
Speaking to TNT Sports he described the outcome as ‘nonsense’ and was left bemused at how his fighter didn’t get the decision.
Steve Bunce, working for the broadcaster, was left stunned by Warren’s reaction.
“He wasn’t even in touch with what was going on, so he wasn’t even screaming blue murder and an instigation,” he said.
RIYADH REACTION:Tyson Fury ‘robbed’ as boxing fans blast judges following Oleksandr Usyk defeat
“JayDee [Dyer, TNT Sports presenter] was trying to goad him and say ‘I know you appealed in the past’, but Frank is just shaking his head, he didn’t know what was going on.
“He was more astounded about that stat about the last six rounds, he was more astounded about the four. Had it been 7-5, I don’t think he would have said that much.
“But he didn’t say ‘That was a robbery, I’m going to appeal, let’s have a match’.
“Why didn’t he say that? He looked in complete shock.”

As for Usyk, the veteran is open to a second duel with Dubois – who called out the heavyweight star for a rematch on live television last night.
