Toronto Fire Services rescued a person from a house fire in north Etobicoke on Sunday afternoon.

Just after the noon hour, flames were visible at the two-alarm fire at the residence at 107 Upper Humber Dr. in the area of Finch Ave. and Hwy. 427.

“There were flames and smoke and as we were conducting a search we rescued a person from the residence,” said District Fire Chief Dan Vieira.

The rescued person was turned over to paramedics and treated at the scene.

There were no other injuries reported.

Crews had the fire under control by the mid afternoon.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, and the structural integrity of the home needs to be reviewed.
