An unidentified man is sought after a violent robbery attempt on a TTC bus last month in the city’s east end.

Toronto Police said officers responded on Nov. 20, around 7 p.m., to a call for a person with a knife on board a TTC bus near Victoria Park Station.

Police allege that a man approached the victim on the bus, pulled a knife and threatened the victim in an attempt to rob them.

The man could not obtain anything from the victim and exited the bus, fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as 30-40 years old, 5-foot-10, 165 pounds with brown hair. He was wearing a black toque, brown jacket, grey sweater, black shirt and blue jeans and was carrying a black backpack.
