THANKS FOR NOTHING, JAGMEET
Another golden opportunity was missed by Jagmeet Singh to do the right thing for Canada and bring down the Liberal Party and Justin Trudeau by not supporting the Conservatives’ vote of non-confidence. In the eyes of Canadians, Singh has sung his last song. Jagmeet, like Justin, will be washed away by Canadian votes in the next election. He will become a tiny, tiny footnote in Canadian political history, the single individual who supported Trudeau, just so he could secure his parliamentary pension. Well, Mr. Singh, enjoy that pension. Your political future and that of the NDP party is doom and gloom. When the next election is over, so is your leadership.

TRUMP WAS TEASING
Re “Trump’s talk of annexing Canada nonsensical” (Warren Kinsella, Dec. 10): The idea of Canada becoming the 51st State is indeed “nonsensical.” So why is Kinsella and others still pushing this “un-Warren-ted” silliness and trying to make hay with a Trump one-liner? It was a joke, already! We all know it! And stop trying to mock Canadians who support Trump. Chill out and get a grip because Trump was poking fun at an unfunny Justin Trudeau. And obviously getting a laugh at the expense of the last person on Earth to ever lead any kind of “reconstituted” Canada. Do not panic, do not pass Go, and go directly to the next election.

IT’S NOT IN THE MAIL
We usually send out gift certificates to our grandchildren by Canada Post. We also receive our utility bills through Canada Post. We have changed our utility bills to online, and we also contacted places by phone and were able to create gift certificates for our grandchildren at stores in their area. Worked out great, and we will continue to do this instead of using Canada Post. It is roughly 40 to 50 times per year that we use Canada Post. Sorry, guys, but we will continue to use these methods.
