Translink has announced its Christmas timetables as revellers plan their festive nights out.
The train and bus operator is already running late night services to deal with the influx of passengers.
However, disruptions in the typical services schedule will begin from Monday, December 23, for metro buses and gliders, with a school holiday timetable in effect until January 3.
Travellers have also been reminded that no trains or buses nationwide will be in operation for Christmas Day.
Exceptions are Christmas Eve when services will finish earlier than usual, along with Boxing Day and New Year’s Day which will run on a special timetable.
Rail services will operate as normal until Christmas Eve with a Saturday service for New Year’s Eve, which will also finish early.
Saturday services will operate on December 27 and 30 and a Sunday service will be in place on New Year’s Day.
Ulsterbus and Goldliner passengers are advised of an early finish to journeys on Christmas Eve and a special holiday timetable operating on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
A school holiday timetable will run outside of these dates from December 27 to January 2.
Enterprise rail services will not be in operation on Boxing Day with services finishing earlier than usual on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
A Saturday timetable service is in place for December 27 and 30 with a holiday schedule on New Year’s Day.
