Netflix users are singing the praises of an action thriller that’s earning rave reviews on the streaming platform, with many rating it a ‘ten out of ten’.
The 2009 film, Law Abiding Citizen, features Gerard Butler and is directed by F. Gary Gray, renowned for his work on Straight Outta Compton and The Italian Job.
Written by Kurt Wimmer, the director behind sci-fi successes like Equilibrium, UltraViolet and the 2020 remake of Children of the Corn, the film revolves around Butler’s character, Clyde Shelton. He embarks on a relentless pursuit of revenge against those who brutally killed his wife and daughter during a home invasion.
But his fury isn’t solely aimed at the murderers – he also targets the law enforcement officials, including attorney Nick Rice, played by Jamie Foxx, who failed to secure the justice Clyde so desperately sought, according to the Mirror.
Fans have been lavish in their praise for the film, with many recommending it on social media. One viewer gushed: “‘Law Abiding Citizen is a top 10 movie of all time.”, reports Surrey Live.
