Police are requesting the public’s help in finding a 52-year-old Toronto man charged with trespassing at night.

Cops said that on Nov. 10 at about 3:55 p.m. they responded to the Henry-Baldwin Sts. area, where a male suspect allegedly showed up at the victim’s address in the early morning twice and was seen peering into windows and loitering on the property.

The suspect has been identified as George Braid, who is also wanted is also wanted on several outstanding warrants including failure to comply with Durham police; harassing by watching and besetting, observe/record person expecting privacy, breach of probation, failure to comply, voyeurism and trespassing at night with York police; and failure to comply with probation with Barrie Police.

Braid is clean shaven, 5-foot-11 and 181 pounds with a medium build, short grey hair and blue eyes.

TEENS CHARGED IN CARJACKING PROBE

Two boys, aged 16 and 17, from Brampton have been charged with robbery and wearing a disguise in connection with a carjacking robbery in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said a female victim was returning to her parked vehicle in the Britannia Rd. W.-Mavis Rd. area on Friday at 2:30 p.m. when two male suspects allegedly demanded keys to her vehicle. The victim, who was not injured, complied and the suspects allegedly fled in her vehicle, a newer-model Mercedes GLE.

Cops said investigators quickly located the stolen vehicle and arrested the suspects. A replica firearm and an edged weapon were allegedly located inside the vehicle.

MAN, 32, FACING ASSAULT RAP AFTER CLASH AT PROTEST

A 32-year-old Toronto man has been charged with assaulting a peace officer during a demonstration on Sunday in the Bathurst St.-Sheppard Ave. W. area.

Cops said the accused attended a counter-demonstration and approached the opposing group of demonstrators while holding a megaphone and yelling at them. Police said they intervened to prevent a breach of the peace and the suspect allegedly assaulted an officer and was arrested.

Muhammad Anas Sial is charged with assaulting a peace officer with a weapon.

FEMALE SERIOUSLY HURT IN HAMILTON HIT-AND-RUN

Hamilton Police are investigating a motor-vehicle collision that left a female victim with serious injuries.

On Saturday around 10:30 p.m., the victim and her friend were crossing Emerson St. at a pedestrian crosswalk north of Ward Ave., while the suspect vehicle, described as a grey sedan, was travelling southbound on Emerson and didn’t stop at the crosswalk.

Cops said the vehicle allegedly struck the victim, which sent her airborne before the car continued at a fast pace southbound while leaving the scene.

The victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Police are asking motorists who were in the area at the time and property owners to check their dashcams and CCTV for footage that may assist investigators.
