Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are “very savvy with online shopping” when buying Christmas presents, according to a former royal butler.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold reveals that not all modern royals shop online.
He suggested that many of the Royal Family shop unnoticed among the general public.
The former royal butler said: “There’s always a bodyguard with them for protection, but people don’t recognise them because you don’t expect to see a King or a future Queen browsing in your local store.”

The younger royals are also embracing modern shopping methods, with Harrold noting they are “very savvy with online shopping.”
Kate has been spotted hunting for last-minute gifts at The Range in Kings Lynn.
The royal couple has also been known to visit the family-run department store Bakers & Larners in Holt, where they browse local specialities and hampers.

Harrold said: “you’ll see the royal ladies wearing a new necklace and you’ll just know it was a Christmas present.”
“I can easily see Kate, William and even Anne wrapping their own presents but not the King.”

King Charles prefers modest presents, according to his former butler Grant Harrold. “He’d be embarrassed if you spent a fortune on him. He’d say, ‘That’s lovely but you really shouldn’t have.'”
