A bus has collided with a building as Storm Darragh ripped through Northern Ireland overnight.

The incident happened shortly after 3am in the outskirts of Templepatrick.

The Airport express bus is understood to have been travelling from Belfast at the time.

Roads across Northern Ireland have been impacted by falling trees, with the PSNI warning the public to “consider essential travel only”.

The M1 is partially blocked between Moira and Lurgan, while the Falls Road and Upper Springfield roads were completely blocked by fallen trees.
