Newry millionaire money launderer ‘Mr-Fix-it’ is now facing lengthy jail time.

Rory Trainor was snared following a Europe-wide investigation into the EncroChat phone network.

48-year-old Trainor spent almost five years fighting 39 charges but has now admitted guilt to drug and illegal cash charges.

He was remanded in custody after confessing to laundering almost £1.4 million between April and June 2020 and importing and supplying cocaine and cannabis during the same three-month period.

Police never found his Encrochat phone but had enough data to snare him.
