Before delivering his attempt to revitalise his premiership (same tosh, different day) our hapless PM would do well to take on board the words from Sir James Dyson. In a letter in the Telegraph Sir James wrote; ‘’Why would anyone start a company in the UK? The hit delivered by Labour to business, and the destruction of British family-owned business especially, is an egregious act of self-harm.’’

He went on to say that a combination of the National Insurance increases and change to inheritance tax on family businesses will ‘’kill entrepreneurship, snuff out wealth creation and stunt growth in the economy.’’

Sir James knows a thing or two about entrepreneurship and wealth creation. He started out in business 50 years ago with his first design being the Ballbarrow and today is worth £23billion. He still owns 100% of the company. Bravo.

You would have thought before making economic judgments for the nation of any kind Starmer would turn to a Dyson who has had both longevity and success. Neither of which has come Starmer’s way.

But no. He’s scared of people like Dyson as they can prove that his approach of tax, tax and more tax simply won’t work.

Starmer’s five months in power have been a catastrophe for the country and although early days to say this, my bet is that Labour will never recover.

I’m sure Labour will take a pasting in next May’s county council elections and an even bigger battering when the first of the by-elections take place.

At that I expect challenges to come to his leadership. Since Starmer is not very good at politics I’m not sure that he will be to bothered if forced out. The guy’s a dud and I think he now knows it.

Starmer’s relaunch will pledge to meet to meet six ‘’milestones’’ including to raise living standards, cut NHS waiting lists and build 1.5million homes. He will not include a pledge on either reducing migration or setting a migration cap.

So, expect migrant numbers to remain high. Starmer has decided to the way to deal with the migrant numbers is simply to ignore them. He has spoken more about Gregg Wallace than he has about the 20,000 migrants who have come to our shores since he took power on July 4.

How wrong. A complete misunderstanding of what is important to the voters.

If he can’t get that right what chance has the UK got in a difficult and dangerous world. Is it any wonder that Starmer’s personal ratings have fallen from +19 to -32?

Not only is Starmer a dud but he clearly has taken a decision to surround himself with incompetents as it make him look better. Rachel from Accounts and Lammy the Lamentable can hardly open their mouths without making either themselves or the country look fools.

I’m not really here to help Labour but were I running the party ( good idea) I would fire Reeves on the spot. Scrapping the winter fuel money for pensioners was not only a cruel mistake but will lead to unnecessary deaths. What will Labour look like when the first inquest proves the scrapping of the £300 was responsible for an old dear dying in a terraced house in Hull?

She led the politicised VAT attack on private schools who have never done anybody any harm and have produced some of the best and brightest through their fabulous teaching methods. Rather than improve state schools they want to reduce private schools. Typical.

Finally, the £25billion tax on companies through National Insurance will haunt both Starmer and Reeves through this one term administration. Unemployment will rise, more small companies will close and the sense that the UK is a good place to do business will die.

The reality is that Labour want us all to work for the state. And they may get their way. Today’s Dysons will move to the US over the next five years. How sad.
