A holiday resort just over an hour’s drive from Bristol has been among Britain’s best. Peckmoor Farm Lodges has received the accolade in this year’s Hoseasons Diamond Awards.
The lodges are located in Crewkerne, on the border of Somerset with Dorset. Set among 350 acres of countryside, Peckmoor Farm Lodges includes boutique lodges and luxurious woodland hideaways – all with their own private hot tub.
Set on a working farm on the Dorset/Somerset border, Peckmoor Farm Lodges is a five minutes’ drive from the market town of Crewkerne. It also includes a petting farm, nature walks, cycling, walking trails and in-lodge therapies.
Stephen, who stayed at the lodges in May, wrote: “The lodge is fantastic with all the stuff you need. The area is quiet and beautiful with easy access to all that Somerset and Dorset has to offer.”
Peckmoor Farm lodges has an average rating of 4.9 on Google after receiving more than a hundred reviews, having a rating of 5 on TripAdvisor. One wrote: “Wow what a place!! We absolutely loved everything about our stay, it was the perfect winter getaway and the lodge was nice and private.
“The extras like biscuits, eggs, dog treats etc were all very appreciated. We enjoyed feeding the lovely animals apples and carrots and it was so nice to warm up in front of the log burner after a walk. We are already looking at booking here again for next year!”
The Kingfisher club at the Riverside Holiday Village in Weston-super-Mare has also received an award. The club has received the “Customer Choice Food Awards – Family Fun”.

Alison, who stayed there in July, told Ho Seasons: “Had a fantastic time loved every minute, can’t thank the staff enough they were brilliant, very pleasant and welcoming. The chefs were fantastic, meals were great.”
