A Duracell products manufacturer in Gloucestershire has expanded its senior team with three new hires. Toddington-based Puredrive Energy said the appointments would support the firm’s expansion across the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and South Africa, as well as emerging markets.
Keith Chamberlain has joined the business as chief product officer, overseeing existing and emerging Duracell Energy products. His career includes leadership roles at Orange, Urban Mover, and Voltempo. He will lead the development of Duracell Energy’s entire product roadmap, guiding each product from concept to launch.
Fiona Ashdown, who has 15 years’ business-to-business marketing experience, has been appointed sales and marketing director. She will play a central role in driving revenue and expanding market share for Duracell Energy products, the firm said.
Meanwhile, Chris Booth, who has held roles at Honda, GE, and Triumph, joins Puredrive as operations director and will support the company’s growth plans.
Mark Millar, Puredrive Energy chief executive, said: “We’re excited to continue our organisation’s current growth trajectory. The past eight months have been a whirlwind of activity and success which continues to roll on.
“Keith, Fiona, and Chris are key additions to the team and will be an integral part of future expansion plans into new and emerging territories, as well as the development of our market leading smart energy solutions. After such a successful launch period we are excited about future plans that will allow us to continue to provide homeowners and businesses with expert smart energy solutions, reducing energy costs and saving the planet at the same time.”
Puredrive Energy manufactures and distributes Duracell-branded energy storage products for the residential and commercial markets. Duracell Energy, which employs more than 70 people, also has a hub in the historic Cavendish House in Cheltenham.
