PSNI seize mobile phones and money in Derry as part of ongoing probe into ‘illegal lending’

Detectives from the Police Service’s Terrorism Investigation Unit carried out a search at an address in Londonderry earlier on Wednesday (December 4).

The search, in the cityside of Derry, is part of an ongoing investigation into illegal money lending.

A sum of cash was seized, and a number of mobile phones were removed for forensic examination.

While no arrests were made, police said enquiries are ongoing.
