Tyson Fury has declared he wants a trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk if he emerges victorious in their upcoming rematch on December 21 in Riyadh.
The announcement comes as the heavyweight titans prepare to face off for the second time, following Fury’s first professional defeat in his 16-year career.
The Gypsy King made his intentions clear during a recent DAZN interview, insisting that a third bout would be necessary to settle their rivalry definitively.
Their previous clash in May ended in a dramatic split decision victory for Usyk, marking a historic moment in boxing.

The Ukrainian fighter became the sport’s first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
The bout was closely contested, with three of the four judges ruling in Usyk’s favour after a tense fight that Fury dominated in the early rounds.
The defeat marked Fury’s first loss in his professional career, setting the stage for this month’s highly anticipated rematch.
In the face-off interview released by DAZN, Fury returned to his characteristic provocative style.
The Mancunian boxer labelled Usyk a “b****” during their heated exchange.

He maintained his confidence about changing the outcome in the upcoming rematch, asserting he would be victorious this time round.
The interview showcased the growing tension between the two heavyweight champions as they approach their December 21 clash in Riyadh.
During the interview, Fury’s promoter Frank Warren highlighted the significant legacy implications of the bout.
“A lot of journalists and what you read afterwards, they were saying whoever won the fight was going to be the best heavyweight of the 21st century,” Warren stated.
He continued: “I’m glad they’ve said that because, at the moment, Oleksandr got the result and won the split decision, but [if] Tyson wins it, that’s where that mantle will go. That he is the best of his generation.”
However, Fury was quick to contradict his promoter’s legacy claims.

“No Frank, there will be a rematch. A trilogy. There’s got to be,” Fury interjected.
The heavyweight boxer explained his reasoning: “If he wins one and I win one, I can’t say I’m better and he can’t say he’s better. There has to be a third one.”
His statement underscores his determination to definitively settle the question of supremacy between the two fighters, regardless of the outcome on December 21.
