Two men have been arrested as part of the investigation around the death of Chloe Ferris after her sudden death in Lux nightclub in Belfast.

Police confirmed the men – both aged in their 20s – were arrested on suspicion of drug related offences.

The PSNI confirmed they had been released on bail pending further enquiries and stressed that a post mortem has been carried out and an investigation is still continuing to determine the cause of Ms Ferris’ death.

The 24-year-old beautician from Belfast was pronounced dead at Lux nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning when emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 2.20am.

A 999 call was made regarding two people who fell unconscious, with her friend still in hospital receiving treatment.

A PSNI spokesperson added: “Police are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have any information which could assist with the investigation to contact them on 101, or submit information online via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.”
