Bargain hunters are thrilled with a chic ornament that ‘gives off designer vibes’ and is often seen in celeb homes, like Love Island star Molly-Mae. Many shoppers know Homesense is a go-to store for unique decor at reduced prices.

Now, if you want a splash of opulence in your home, Homesense is offering ‘lookalike’ versions of a designer ornament. Shoppers can buy items that could pass for high-end Bearbrick products known to command prices up to £3,000 for some sizes and designs.

Homesense, which is part of the TK Maxx family, shared a video of an eager bargain hunter who found an expensive-looking set for a mere £15. TikToker Ellie (@Fenloninteriors_) captured her excitement when she discovered the bargain in a Liverpool Homesense store.

The video was captioned: “Look who’s back! Homesense bearbrick [alternative] minis!” It shows three-pack sets of bears priced at just £14.99.

Options include blue, pink and silver packs, as well as all-matte black or metallic trios. Ellie didn’t stop there as she also spotted vibrant balloon-style animal figures like dogs and unicorns, each going for £17.99, reports the Mirror.

She recommended: “These would look gorgeous on a media unit or console table”, noting such pieces “add personality” to interiors. Ellie found further sets with dripping paint effects and others resembling ‘jelly bear’ sweets.

Ellie was wrapping up her filming of the triple-figure packs when she came across a “unique” bowl featuring a bear design that caught her eye. Although she wasn’t keen on the marbled colours, she considered spray painting it to make the “cutest snack bowl”.

The video has garnered over 22,000 views from eager shoppers since its upload on November 29. One shopper exclaimed: “I need!” Another commented: “How fab are they!”

The ornaments arguably resemble Bearbrick figures. The ornaments debuted in 2001 as a bear-faced twist on Japanese toy label Medicom’s Kubrick figurines and have since become coveted collector’s items.

Similar decorations have previously been found at TK Maxx and B&M stores. Aldi has also released ‘create your own’ kits that many likened to the Bearbrick style. Find your nearest Homesense store using the online tool here. Just add in your postcode to be shown the closest location to your home.
