The Black Friday sales are almost over, with just hours left to bag yourself some great discounts – including almost 50% off this ‘stunning’ winter coat from New Look, which feels like you’re getting a ‘snuggly hug’ when you’re wearing it, according to buyers.
The Borg Longline Coat was reduced by 43% for Black Friday, from £69.99 to just £40. But now, with the end of the sales event approaching, New Look has slashed an extra 10% off for Cyber Monday, when you apply the discount code EXTRA10 at checkout.
This means that, until 11.59pm tonight (December 2), you can get the “gorgeous” coat for as little as £36, a saving of 49%, or £33.99, off its typical retail price.
The eye-catching piece comes in five trendy colourways including black, grey, tan, mink, and brown, and is available in sizes 6-20.
It is cut from a heavyweight teddy borg material, and fully lined, with slip pockets and large notch lapels for maximum cosiness. The coat is also finished with two buttons down the front, so you can fasten up to help retain the warmth.
The coveted garment has garnered a rating of 4.5 stars out of five on the New Look website, with 45 four- or five-star reviews.
One happy shopper described the coat as “ravishing”, writing: “The coat is so warm and perfect. It’s lightweight, and the design is stylish. Happy with the purchase. New Look never fails to impress.”
Another added: “I adore this coat, more than I expected to! It fits like a dream. I wear it open as it’s most flattering this way. I bought my usual size 14 and I can wear it with several layers underneath. Gorgeous colour, texture, and lined! A beautifully made, glamorous coat.”
And a third raved: “Stunning winter coat. Can be worn dressed down casually with trainers/trousers, or looks glam with heels and a dress. Very warm and cosy. True to size. Had loads of compliments wearing it. Get this coat, girls!”
However, one customer who was less enamoured with the New Look Borg coat wrote: “Not as heavy as the Primark version of this. Very lightweight. Oversized so definitely size down. I sized down to 12 when I usually wear a 14. Very thin, and does not feel like it’s a £70 coat.”
