Morrisons has confirmed a rule change – with shoppers who have a More Card now able to receive five points on every single item purchased, whether in store, online, within convenience outlets, or via Amazon, starting from today, December 2. The More Card already allowed customers to accumulate points on chosen products by using their card or app.
When a shopper amasses 5,000 points, they are rewarded with a ‘Morrisons Fiver’, which can be used for savings on subsequent purchases, either in store or online. With the latest update, More Card Members will earn five more points on each item they buy, accelerating their progress towards the Morrisons Fiver.
As well as five points for every product, More Card holders enjoy additional promotional Points on selected products in Morrisons stores and online – including the opportunity to earn 50 points when they buy any Morrisons The Best product throughout December.
Alex Rogerson, Group Marketing Director at Morrisons, said: ”We wanted to give customers even more bang for their buck when they shop with Morrisons, and now they’ll earn More Points on everything they buy. We remain committed to driving value for our customers however they shop with us, making it easier than ever to bag a Morrisons Fiver and save big while you shop.”
The introduction of five More Card Points on every product follows a recent successful trial in Wales.
Morrisons More Card benefits can be accessed in the 1,000 Morrisons Daily convenience stores which are owned by Morrisons, as well as in 500 Morrisons supermarkets, Morrisons.com and Morrisons on Amazon. The loyalty scheme offers are signposted in stores, at shelf edge and via in-store radio, with the latest deals also communicated through the Morrisons More app and customer emails sent to More Card holders.
