Tributes have continued to pour in for “gorgeous and talented” Chloe Ferris as her funeral details are confirmed.

The beautician, who was in her 20s, died at Lux nightclub in Belfast city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Requiem Mass for Ms Ferris will take place in St Paul’s Church on Falls Road at 1pm on Thursday before she is laid to rest in Milltown Cemetery.

Her remains will be reposing at the family home in Newtownabbey from Monday evening.

“Beloved daughter of Declan and Sharon, much loved sister of Christopher, Declan and Barry, much loved Aunt, Niece, Cousin , part of the “Sister Squad” and friend to many. R.I.P,” the notice reads.

“Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

“Deeply regretted by her heartbroken mother, father and entire family circle.”

Hundreds of people have been expressing shock and sadness on social media while a police probe into the incident continues.

“Utterly heartbroken hearing this,” one friend wrote. “You really were the most gorgeous and talented girl!”

Another heartbroken pal also paid tribute to “the most gorgeous girl”.

“Will never forget all the laughs we had,” they added.

“Thinking of Chloe’s family and friends at this time.”

Another social media user said they were thinking of their friends who have lost “their beautiful cousin”.

“Hearts are broken,” they wrote. “God give all the family strength to get through this awful time.”

Many tributes expressed condolences with Ms Ferris’ loved ones as they come to terms with their loss.

“Rest easy Chloe, always and forever in our heart – just can’t take it in, such a beautiful kind hearted girl,” one read.

Another said: “It’s the saddest thing ever, [I] loved her. She was an absolute wee darling with a heart of gold.”

The young businesswoman was pronounced dead at the city centre venue when emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 2.20am.

A 999 call was made regarding two people who fell unconscious – the second woman remains in hospital and is believed to have been a friend of the deceased.

A statement released by Lux said its “focus is now to help the police with their investigation and our staff wellbeing”.

“Our thoughts and sympathies are with the parents and family during this very difficult time,” it added.

The former St Louise’s Comprehensive College pupil ran her own beauty salon in Newtownabbey and recently returned to her former school to share her experiences.

“Started Chloe’s Beauty when I was in St Louise’s doing my A-levels,” she wrote on Facebook.

“Now Anna’s 6th year students are using my small business as the example in their A-level coursework. A full circle moment.”

Beauty training academy Enhance Belfast paid tribute to Ms Ferris online.

“Absolutely heartbreaking, our lovely student Chloe,” it posted.

“Sending so much love to her family and friends.”

Sinn Féin MLA Órlaithí Flynn described the death as “an absolute tragedy” as she offered her “deepest condolences” to Ms Ferris’s grieving family “who have woken today to this unthinkable and heartbreaking news.”

The west Belfast representative also expressed sympathy for the second woman and her family as she remains in hospital and urged anyone with information to contact police.
