Amanda Owen has reunited with her son Reuben, 21, in a new update from Ravenseat while the family’s latest series remains on hiatus.
Reuben joined his mum and dad in their latest More 4 series, Our Farm Next Door, as the Owen clan got to grips with trying to restore a derelict farmhouse in the Dales.
The latest series from the family that shot to fame on Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm hasn’t been on the air for the past few weeks but is billed to return in the new year.
However, that doesn’t mean the Owen clan have downed tools for the festive season with mum-of-nine Amanda regularly updating fans with the latest goings-on at their Yorkshire farm.
And Reuben will soon be back on screens in his own festive special, Christmas in the Dales, where he plans a festive party for friends and family at their local to thank them for all their help with his heavy plant machinery business.
As well as celebrating the festive season, Reuben has also had another cause for celebration after seemingly sparking up a romance following his split from long-term girlfriend Sarah Dow earlier this year.
Dow starred opposite the young farmer in his Channel 5 series, Life in the Dales, but after filming finished, Reuben confirmed they’d gone their separate ways.
Despite remaining good friends, Reuben appears to have found love again in the form of fellow farmer, Jessica Ellwood.
Details of their romance remain scarce as Ellwood prefers to stay out of the public eye but Reuben seemingly went public with their romance with a loved-up snap on Instagram earlier this month.
He’s remained tight-lipped since, but on Thursday evening, mum Amanda revealed he’d been enjoying downtime at Ravenseat after returning from a break away with his new girlfriends.
Amanda shared a snap of her son with their horses on the farm along with the caption: “A moment to reflect and then time to kick up your heels.”
She followed up the Instagram post with a series of hashtags: “#yorkshire #farm #horses #heavyhorses,” followed by horse emojis.
Before long, fans rushed to the comments section to rejoice at seeing the Owen pair back together and soaking in the sights in the picturesque Dales.
“Ravenseat is the best place on earth to reflect,” one fan penned before a second said: “Oh that’s so lovely, thank you. x.”
“Absolutely wonderful! Wish I were there,” added a third, while a fourth commented: “Reuben must be the only one tall enough to look over the big horse’s withers!” (sic)
Reuben’s announcement of his new romance comes just six months after he told ITV’s Lorraine about his split from Dow.

“Me and Sarah were together, we’re no longer together but we’re still very good friends. She’s kind of gone her own way and is pursuing her own career.
“She does the odd day for us when she’s not busy, but no we’re not together. We get on very well and we’re still good pals,” he insisted to the ITV star,” he said.
