Prince Harry’s wellness firm has slashed 30 per cent off its prices for counselling courses after being savaged by former staff members.

The Duke of Sussex works at BetterUp as the Chief Impact Officer, and the company has sent emails to clients pleading for business.


The California-based firm wrote: “Our best deal of the year is here!

The email adds: “We never do this.”

This comes after former employees branded the company a “Toxic Boys’ Club” on Glassdoor, according to reports in Radar Online.

One ex-staff member claimed that “wartime language” is frequently used.

BetterUp has a 2.8 out of five review score on Glassdoor.

Another former staff member wrote: “Seemingly never-ending culture of toxicity and bad leadership. Useless and utterly powerless HR.”

However, some employees have a positive experience, with one writing: “Fantastic employee benefits and mission.”

Another wrote: “Amazing colleagues, products, leaders, and mission! This place is fast-paced.”

Similarly, someone said: “Great culture and everyone is here to help you succeed.”

The royal’s description on the company website reads: “Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist.
