Award-winning burger restaurant brand, The Beefy Boys, is opening its fourth restaurant in the coming months – and it will be located right here in the West Country.

With a cult following across the UK, The Beefy Boys have announced they will be opening their new branch on Milsom Street in Bath. The new restaurant will take over the site of the former Milsom Hotel and Loch Fyne restaurant.

The team have confirmed plans to open ‘at the beginning of 2025’. The prime spot on Milsom Street has been chosen to provide the ‘perfect backdrop for diners to enjoy The Beefy Boys‘ signature dirty burgers’, which has won them two accolades, including the title of ‘Best Burger’ at the 2023 National Burger Awards.

The Beefy Boys are celebrated for their authentic American-style barbeque food, and recently came fourth at the World Food Championships in Indianapolis. They’re best known for their ‘smashed patties, indulgent flavours, and the highest quality grass-fed Herefordshire beef’ and have a menu that showcases their award-winning burgers.

One such item on the menu is the ‘Beefy Boy Burger’ – a juicy patty topped with American cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, red onion, gherkin, Swiss cheese and their signature ‘special’ sauce. Burger lovers can also indulge in creations like the ‘Oklahoma Onion’ – which features caramelised onions smashed into the patty – or the bold ‘Peanut Butter and Jelly Boy’, which combines sweet and savoury flavours in a rather unique way.

In addition to the burgers on the menu, The Beefy Boys are known for crowd-pleasing sides and classic barbeque dishes, like pastrami fries, mac & cheese balls, Millionaire fries, Nashville hot chicken strips, buffalo & blue cheese chicken wings – and even vegetarian and vegan-friendly creations like the ‘Beanie Boy’ and ‘Leafy Boy’ burgers.

One of the founding members of The Beefy Boys, Murf, said: “Bath is a beautiful city with a real buzz to it, and that was why it was our choice for the fourth restaurant. The location on Milsom Street is amazing as it is slap bang in the heart of the city.

“We can’t wait to get there and introduce the people of Bath to our brand of authentic dirty American-style burgers.” The Beefy Boys currently have restaurants in Hereford, Shrewsbury and Cheltenham.
