One of the men arrested for the alleged assault of Paul ‘BizNasty’ Bissonnette in Arizona could be in even more hot water.
Sean M. Daley, who was one of six men taken into custody by Scottsdale Police for their role in the alleged assault of the former NHLer-turned-analyst, was found carrying a fraudulent military ID after the incident at a steakhouse on Sunday night.
While all six accused of the attack are facing aggravated assault and misdemeanour charges, Daley is also charged with forgery.
Another man, William J. Carroll, has been booked on two misdemeanour counts each of assault and disorderly conduct, according to reports.

According to court documents viewed by KTVK and CBS affiliate KPHO in Phoenix, police found a military ID in Daley’s possession that appeared to be fake. When officers questioned him about it, Daley allegedly admitted it was fraudulent, but did not go into further detail about the ID.
Daley is alleged to have held Bissonnette to the ground and kicked the Spittin Chiclets podcaster in the neck and head area, according to court documents.
The court records also said Daley had tried to kick Bissonnette again, but “missed and fell backwards,” allowing ‘BizNasty’ a chance to retreat to a nearby business, which Bissonnette later identified on his podcast as a CVS.
Bissonnette detailed his account of the incident on the podcast earlier this week.
He said that the incident started when he and others in the packed restaurant were distracted by a noisy incident in the bar area of the restaurant. In Bissonnette’s words, things began to escalate and caused the former Phoenix Coyotes tough guy to intervene.
From there, the restaurant equivalent of a bench-clearing brawl ensued, albeit a one-sided affair.
“The antagonist starts putting his finger in the manager’s face and backing him up,” Bissonnette explained on Spittin’ Chiclets. “Everybody’s watching. This is a commotion with nine golfers drunker than maggots and creating a scene and obviously don’t like being told ‘no.’
“I get up and go over and walk over and grab the guy’s arm and say ‘listen buddy if you keep assaulting and harassing the staff here we’re going to go outside and have some problems.’ The minute that left my mouth the guy beside him starts throwing punches and the next thing you know four guys are throwing punches at me.”
Eventually, the ruckus spilled over into the restaurant’s parking lot where Bissonnette said he was taken to the ground and kicked by his assailants before escaping into a nearby store. Police were called to the scene, leading to the arrests.
Daley appeared before a Maricopa County judge on Monday and is set to return in December for further hearings.
Daley, who is from Texas, appeared to upset the judge after giving a noncommittal response when asked if was able to return to be present for future court dates.
“If I have to be, I can try to make it,” he said in the video according to TMZ. “Yes, ma’am.”
“It’s not a try. I mean if that’s the case I’ll either set a bond for you,” she said before he confirmed he would return.
Daley also was ordered to stay away from the scene where the incident happened and to not have contact with the “alleged victim, complainant or witness” in the matter.
