A man in his seventies has become the third person to die following a crash in Co Donegal.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal road traffic collision in Liscooley, Co Donegal on Friday, November 22.
The collision involving two vehicles occurred at approximately 10pm.
Two men from Castlederg in Co Tyrone died instantly in the crash. They were friends Ryan Glenn (25) and Gordy Galbraith, who was aged in his 30s.
A woman and a man, both aged in their 70s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Gardaí in Donegal have this morning confirmed that the man has since sadly passed away in hospital.
The woman remains in hospital.
A second woman in her 30s was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said: “A woman and a man (both 70s) from the second vehicle were taken to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
“The man has since sadly passed away in hospital.”
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to Gardaí.
