Rapid7 was named as the winner of the Excellence in Workplace Health and Wellbeing award.
The cybersecurity company helps organisations build effective cybersecurity programmes to navigate the challenges of an ever-evolving threat landscape.
Rapid7 offers a range of programmes aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of its employees. These include comprehensive healthcare coverage and access to in-office resources that promote healthy living.
Notable offerings include connections to specialists for neurological evaluations and on-site mental health first aiders trained by AwareNI. During the autumn 2023 enrolment period, over 80% of eligible employees actively explored new benefit options, rather than simply rolling over their selections from the previous year.
Karen Hendry, senior benefits manager, said the company was “delighted” to be recognised for its commitment to workplace health and wellbeing.
“We were thrilled to receive the Excellence in Workplace Health & Wellbeing award at the 2024 Belfast Telegraph IT Awards. This award highlights our commitment to supporting our employees with meaningful benefits that promote their mental and physical wellbeing, helping them become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves.”
The senior benefits manager added that being recognised with the award is “fantastic,” as it underscores the company’s focus on health and wellbeing programmes.
“From our extensive mental health support services, comprehensive health insurance, and proactive healthcare through the cash plan, to our popular cycle scheme, Global Wellness challenges, and excellent on-site gym and studio facilities, we place great importance on helping our people lead healthy lifestyles.
“It’s wonderful to see our programmes recognised in this way.”
The judges noted that Rapid7 “sets itself apart by offering neurodiversity benefits for employees and their family members, providing more direct access to specialists for evaluations, screenings, and treatment programmes”.
