A person has been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast following a five-vehicle crash on the M1 close to Lisburn earlier today.
Both lanes on the road were blocked for a time as emergency services attended the scene of the multi-vehicle close to the Applegreen motorway services.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they responded following reports of the RTC in the Lisburn area.
“Following initial assessment and treatment at scene, one patient was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital by ambulance,” they added.
