Fallon Sherrock has spoken out for the first time since discovering she might face Luke Littler in the second round of the World Darts Championship next month.
The draw for the season-ending major event was made on Monday with Littler entering as the No 4 seed.
As one of the top 32 seeds, Littler is given a bye in the first round – exactly one year after he first burst onto the scene.
He’s been drawn into the opposite half of defending champion Luke Humphries, meaning there could be a repeat of last year’s final.

But there will be plenty of eyes on his potential first opponent as Littler will face either Sherrock or Ryan Meikle.
Sherrock earned her spot at this year’s World Darts Championships via the PDC Women’s Series while Meikle qualified after reaching 26th in the Pro Tour Order of Merit.
The female darts star, who remains the only women to win a match at the PDC World Darts Championships after her run to the third round in 2020, reacted to her draw on social media.
“So I now know I’ll be playing Ryan Meikle in round one at the @OfficialPDC World Championship,” Sherrock wrote on X.
“The winner will play a certain Mr Littler in round two. Can’t wait to play at the Palace again.”
Sherrock faces a tough task in getting past Meikle, who has been making steady progress on the PDC Tour in recent years.
But Littler isn’t sure whether he will have the crowd on his side if he faces Sherrock at the Alexandra Palace.
“If I do come across her, I don’t know what the crowd would be like,” Littler told Sky Sports.

“Against Fallon, it might be a bit different.”
He added: “Good luck to them both.
“It should be a really interesting game, because Ryan’s playing really good, and so is Fallon.”

The teenager was just 13 years old when Sherrock reached the third round at Alexandra Palace.
But he admits to being glued to his screen during that infamous run and was fully behind the female darts star.
Littler said: “I don’t think anyone really missed it. It was incredible to watch.”
