Princess Kate has been confirmed to join Prince William for a major royal event amid next week’s State Visit.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the Princess of Wales, 42, will take part in the State Visit by the Amir of the State of Qatar to the UK from December 2 to December 4.
On Tuesday, December 3, the Prince and Princess of Wales will greet the Amir and Sheikha Jawaher at their residence on behalf of King Charles.
William and Kate will then travel with Their Highnesses to Horse Guards Parade, where the Amir and Sheikha Jawaher will receive a Ceremonial Welcome.

Their Highnesses will join King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, in a carriage procession along the Mall to Buckingham Palace.
Royal fans will likely be very excited to see Kate involved in the State Visit, as the princess has spent the majority of 2024 recuperating at home following her cancer treatment.
Despite Princess Kate joining her husband for some aspects of the royal event, the mother-of-three will not attend the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace next Tuesday evening, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
Kate announced in March earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with a form of cancer and would undergo chemotherapy.

She subsequently stepped back from public life and did not attend any royal engagements.
The 42-year-old made her triumphant return to public life in June at Trooping the Colour, where she joined the King and other members of the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
She then attended the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon with Princess Charlotte the following month.
Royal fans were delighted in September when Kate announced she had completed her course of chemotherapy.
