TRUDEAU DOESN’T SPEAK FOR US

Re “Canada would arrest Israeli PM if he came to Canada: Trudeau” (Bryan Passifiume, Nov. 22): Trudeau says he speaks for Canadians. I want you to know that is another lie, you don’t speak for me or millions of others. The PM of Israel is a man of his word, he stands up to bullies and terrorists who wish nothing more than to eliminate Israel from the face of the Earth. Trudeau, when push comes to shove, you have proven yourself to be a coward. As a Canadian, I know that you would surrender rather than fight. You are more concerned with supporting Gaza and the terrorist groups to gain votes. You do not deserve the title prime minister. You make me and millions of others ashamed to be Canadian.

(You’re right, he lost the privilege of being our prime minister a long time ago but because of Jagmeet Singh and the NDP keeping the Liberals in power, we have to wait longer for an election)

POLL STORY

Trudeau would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. Trudeau said “this is just who we are as Canadians.” Justin, please stop! You no longer represent Canadians. Just look at the polls.

Barry Roden                                                                                                                                            Scarborough

(How much more damage is he going to do as he clings to power?)

ROTTEN FISH

Re “PM’s mea culpa on immigration falls short” (Editorial, Nov. 19): After watching the prime minister talking about the bad actors who were to blame for the immigration problems, the old saying is the fish goes rotten from the head, and that says it all.

(Almost every policy file the Liberals touch, they have screwed up)

TARIFF TALES

With Donald Trump soon to be the 47th president of the United States and talk about the possibility of increased trade tariffs between Canada and the U.S., I am reminded of a quote by American journalist Ida Tarbell: “There is no man more dangerous, in a position of power, than he who refuses to accept as a working truth the idea that all a man does should make for rightness and soundness, that even the fixing of a tariff rate must be moral.”

Jerry Hyland                                                                                                                                                Newmarket

(And who has confidence Trudeau and his band of incompetents will be able to do well by Canada?)
