Beatrice and Eugenie “won’t turn down their inheritance” as the Princesses of York weigh up a decision, a commentator has claimed in an exclusive interview with GB News.

Prince Andrew’s two daughters have consistently been caught up in the Duke of York’s feud with King Charles over Royal Lodge, his home since 2003.

King Charles wanted his younger brother to downsize to a less expensive property, such as Frogmore Cottage, as the duke is no longer a working member of the Royal Family.

In a bid to oust him and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson from the property, which is desperately in need of repairs, the monarch eventually scrapped Andrew’s £1million-a-year allowance.

However, the Duke of York, 64, has since found sufficient funds from an unknown source enabling him to stay, according to reports in The Times.

Prince Andrew is understood to want to leave Royal Lodge to his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as a form of inheritance.

Beatrice lives with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and their three-year-old daughter Sienna in The Cotswolds.

They also have an apartment in St James’s Palace, useful when the royal couple attend engagements in London.

Meanwhile, Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are currently splitting their time between Ivy Cottage in London and a property in Portugal.

Robin Edwards, a property buying agent at Curetons, spoke exclusively to GB News about whether Beatrice, 36, and Eugenie, 34, will want to eventually want to live in Royal Lodge in Windsor.

He said: “Royal Lodge is a stunning property. If Beatrice and/or Eugenie had the chance to live there I’m sure they would jump at the chance.

“Both princesses are generally well-liked by the British public, much more so than their father.”

With the negative press surrounding Prince Andrew and the “siege of Royal Lodge,” Edwards explained whether the York sisters would want to avoid the scandal by turning down their inheritance.

He continued: “Although there may be some negative press about either of them living at Royal Lodge in the future, I don’t think it would be enough to put either of them off living there.”

Beatrice and Eugenie have kept silent amid Prince Andrew’s bitter feud with King Charles.

Both are known to frequently bring their children to visit their grandparents at Royal Lodge.
