Comedian Peter Kay has announced a further extra date in Belfast as part of his long-running tour after high demand.
Last week, the funny man said he was adding on two more dates to his record-breaking comedy tour in a surprise TV ad which aired during the opening of “I’m Celebrity Get Me Out of Here”.
It depicted one of Britain’s best loved comedians being spotted while carrying a gold toilet to his mum’s iconic bungalow before he reveals new shows for 2025 and 2026.
The fan observes a mural of Queen frontman on the garage door before asking “is that Freddie Mercury?”
“Yea, she’s obsessed with him,” Peter replies.
“I had it painted for her birthday.”
However, he has now added even more dates to the tour, including an extra performance in Belfast’s SSE Arena.
Due to phenomenal demand, Kay will now perform the extra dates at 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday 18th April 2026 and in the SSE Arena on Saturday 7th June 2026.
The comedian is already performing in Belfast next year in August.
Kay’s tour, which started in Manchester, December 2022 has already broken records – he’s just completed his 100th show at the Manchester AO Arena breaking all attendance and performance records and the comedian is the first artist in the world to perform a monthly residency at The O2, London, performing 45 shows, the most played by any artist in the venue’s history.
In addition to Dublin and Belfast, Kay’s new dates include two new weekend shows at The O2 in 2025 further adding to this incredible milestone.
“It’s been wonderful doing what I love most, stand-up comedy. Laughter is more important than ever in these challenging times and with the cost of living still at an all-time high, ticket prices for the new dates will start from £35,” said Kay.
