Meghan Markle has a “chance to shape her legacy” with her latest move, a PR expert has claimed.
Former Suits star Meghan Markle gave up on her acting career after announcing she was marrying Prince Harry and joining the Royal Family in 2018.
She has since embarked on a range of projects including multi-million pound deals with Netflix and Spotify.
A PR expert has alluded to the wide range of possibilities the duchess can pursue in a “change to shape her legacy”.

They said: “Whether it’s acting, advocacy, or a combination of both, Meghan has the chance to shape her legacy on her terms – and that’s a win for everyone.”
“Getting back into acting could be a smart move for Meghan.
“It’s something she’s proven she’s good at, and it would allow her to reconnect with the hardworking, talented persona she had before becoming a royal.”
“While it might seem like a step back, with the right roles, it could set her up for a lasting career in entertainment.”

The Duchess of Sussex most noticeably appeared in seven series of the US drama suits, appearing as a paralegal and the main characters love interest, Racheal Zane.
Since stepping back as working royals and moving to California in January 2020, Harry and Meghan have focused on philanthropy causes, launching the The Archewell Foundation later that year.
The PR expert told the Express: “Meghan’s also got the entrepreneurial drive and passion for causes she cares about, so she could carve out a unique space that blends both.
“She might also dive deeper into charity work, especially around women’s empowerment, education, and social justice — issues she’s deeply passionate about. This wouldn’t just show her authenticity but would allow her to make a real difference.

The royal couple have embarked on a separation of their professional lives and have pivoted to solo public appearances rather than joint engagements over the last few months.
Doug Eldridge, a celebrity branding and marketing expert and the founder of Achilles PR, previously praised the royal couple’s business move and said they would benefit from their professional separation with a comparison to a winning poker hand.
He said: “This is akin to splitting aces at the poker table: together you’d think they’re unbeatable — and normally they would be — but oftentimes it’s better to play two separate hands with an ace as an anchor.
“Right now, when you see Harry and Meghan together, it conjures an immediate association to the drama, none of which is positive: leaving the Royal Family, the tell-all book, the sit-downs, the negativity. By contrast, when seen separately, they can almost play their hand, just like the pair of aces you split at the table.”
He added that when Harry appears solo, he can present himself as the “charming guy he was always thought of”, while Meghan can be “free to brand her forthcoming line of goods”.
