Ards and Pegasus go head-to-head in the latest EYHL all-Ulster derby on Saturday afternoon.
A win for Ards over their local rivals could see the side move out of the relegation places whereas Pegasus could end the weekend as high as fourth in the division.
The hosts come into the weekend having come agonizingly close to ending a run of five games without a win last weekend.
Zara Malseed’s strike had seen the side lead for much of last weekend’s game against Elks but were pegged back in the last minute before losing on run-ins.
They now face a Pegasus side who also suffered defeat last weekend and are without a win in three.
Phil Rankin’s side have went to run-ins a league-high five times this season but have only came out on top once so they will be relying on the form of Alex Speers and Anna Pim to seal all three points in normal time.
In Dublin, Ulster Elks take on league leaders Loreto as they look to become the first side to beat the champions in over a year.
The two sides met on the opening day of the campaign when the Dubliners ran out 2-0 winners with goals from Caitlin Sherin and Rachel Kelly.
Since then Elks have had a solid but inconsistent run of form in the league, winning three and losing three of the next eight games, leaving them sixth in the EYHL table.
Meanwhile, they come into the game off the back of a penalty run-in victory over Ards following a 1-1 draw and a goal from Leah McGuire.
In the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League, Belfast Harlequins are looking to return to winning ways as they host Banbridge.
The South Belfast side narrowly lost 2-1 to title-chasing Portadown last weekend and now face the side they convincingly beat on matchday one.
The last time these two sides met it was Quins to came out with a 7-0 win with goals from Alyssa Jebb (2), Claire Whiteside (2), Katie Larmour, Megan Getty and Jenna Henry.
Banbridge come into the game bottom of the table and without a point so far this season.
Elsewhere Queen’s University are out to continue their unbeaten start to the season as they take on mid-table Omagh.
Having dropped points just once this campaign, the reigning champions are top of the division going into matchday nine.
Simon Bell’s side have also netted a league-high 28 goals whilst having the sternest defence, conceding just one in eight games.
Their opponents have made a promising start under new coach Mark Cuddy and come into the weekend just one point off their tally for the entirety of last season.
