A cyclist who died following a crash involving a lorry in north Belfast has been named.
Gary McMahon died at the scene as a result of his injuries following the incident on Clifton Street.
Mr McMahon (58) was from Belfast.
Inspector Cherith Adair from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit said: “Shortly before 7.50am, it was reported that a lorry and a cyclist were involved in a collision.
“Gary, who was the cyclist, sadly passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries.
“Clifton Street has since re-opened and our enquiries into the collision are ongoing.”

Earlier today the ambulance service confirmed it sent two emergency crews and one doctor to the scene of the serious incident on the A12.
A spokesperson said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 7.53am on Thursday following reports of an RTC in the Clifton Street Area, Belfast.
“NIAS despatched two emergency ambulance crews and one doctor to the incident.
“Following initial assessment and treatment at scene, no patients were taken to hospital.”
Clifton Street between Carlisle Circus and Donegall Street has since fully reopened in both directions, along with the Westlink slip roads.
