PITTSBURGH STEELERS (8-2) at CLEVELAND BROWNS (2-8)
LINE: Pittsburgh by 3.5
Playing on a short week against a weak opponent should make it difficult, motivational-wise, for the Steelers, who did very little offensively in beating the Ravens, and their dreadful ‘D’, 18-16 on six Chris Boswell field goals. And then there’s the fact that, under Mike Tomlin, they are 15-30 ATS as road favorites coming off a win, as well as their history in Cleveland, where they are 1-4-1 SU in their last five visits. If Jameis Winston has a moment he’s likely to out-perform Russell Wilson (Winston had almost twice as many passing yards last week when the Browns gave up 21 fourth-quarter points in a 35-14 loss to the Saints), and while Winston is 1-3 on Thursdays he also had seven TD passes, one interception, and an average of 291.5 passing yards in those four games.
