A new coffee shop and barbers is set to open soon near the city centre of Bristol. Double Shot describes their serving as a ‘coffee barbers’, creating a unique new hangout location in Redcliffe.
The new coffee barbers will be located at unit two of Kiln House at 14 St Thomas Street, just off Victoria Street. The front of the coffee barbers is visible to the public, but an opening date is yet to be confirmed.
Posting on Instagram, Double Shot said: “We’re excited to share that our brand-new Coffee Barbers will be opening soon in the heart of Redcliffe, Bristol! Get ready for an industrial-inspired space where you can enjoy top-quality coffee and fresh haircuts, all in one spot. We can’t wait to welcome you, stay tuned for more updates and sneak previews!”
The most recent social media post was posted at the start of October which confirmed that progress was still underway. Hector the dog can be seen, suggesting that visitors to the hangout may be able to meet Double Shot’s four-legged friend.
A planning application was submitted to Bristol City Council on October 28 to install three signs on the exterior of the property. Further details were submitted on November 12.
The plans indicate that a sign will be installed on the door, below the window and a metal blade sign will be located left of the entrance. A barber pole will be installed to the right of the entrance.
