An 18-year-old Toronto man has been charged following a motorcycle theft in the east end.

Toronto Police said that at 6:46 a.m. on Wednesday, the suspect entered a residential building underground parking lot, allegedly stole a 2023 Suzuki GSXR600, fled the area and was last seen in the Coxwell-Danforth Aves. area.

Lord Layling has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 and fail to comply with release order.

YOUTHS CHARGED

Two 16-year-olds from Brampton face numerous weapons charges following an incident at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon.

The OPP says on Tuesday shortly after 1 p.m., officers responded to a weapon-related incident at the school and it was placed into lockdown shortly after 1:30 p.m and lifted just before 3:30 p.m.

There were no reported injuries.

Both 16-year-old boys were charged with possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, trafficking in firearm, weapon, device or ammunition, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.

One of the two was also charged with failure to comply with undertaking.
