Peel Regional Police charged a tow truck driver with stunt driving on Monday.

Police clocked the driver speeding 116 km/h in a 70 km/h zone in the area of Hwy. 50 and Queen St. in Brampton.
The tow driver was charged with speeding, stunt driving, fail to complete a daily inspection, and fail to comply with towing safety standards.
The driver was given a 30-day license suspension and the vehicle was seized for 14 days.
MAN ARRESTED IN ASSAULTS ON WOMEN ON TRAIN
Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting two women in separate incidents at the Pickering GO Station a week ago Monday.
Christopher Otoo, the man wanted for the unprovoked attacks, was arrested in Toronto on Saturday.
Otoo was arrested by Toronto Police and held for bail.
Upon Otoo’s disposition of charges in Toronto, Durham Regional Police will proceed with an arrest warrant.
Durham Police have a warrant for Otoo for assault causing bodily harm, assault, theft under $5,000, and three counts of fail to comply with probation.

YOUNG WOMEN FACE DRUG CHARGES AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
Halton Regional Police arrested two young women and laid multiple charges after a traffic stop in Oakville.
On Saturday, at 1:30 a.m., police tried making a traffic stop in the area of Kobzar Dr. and Travertine Dr., but the vehicle drove away at a high rate of speed,
Police stopped the vehicle using a tire deflation device near Trafalgar Rd. on the eastbound lanes of the Hwy. 407.
The two females were taken into custody.
Maryam Saleem, 18, of Mississauga, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl), possession for the purpose of trafficking (Xanax), flight from police, dangerous operation, fail to comply with release order, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,
Alina Aleem, 19, of Mississauga, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl), and possession for the purpose of trafficking (Xanax).

PERSONAL INJURY INVESTIGATION
Toronto Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
On Monday, at 6:20 p.m., police were called to a personal injury collision in the area of Victoria Park Ave. and Pachino Blvd.
Police say a grey or silver SUV was driving northbound on Victoria Park Ave. while a 63-year-old male pedestrian was crossing the road from the east side to the west side.
The SUV struck the pedestrian and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

PASSED OUT OCCUPANTS IN RUNNING CAR TRY TO FLEE POLICE
Toronto Police are investigating after finding a running vehicle with open doors and passed out occupants.
Police say it happened Tuesday morning at 9:42 a.m. at Adams Park in Scarborough’s West Rouge area.
The occupants tried to flee, but after a foot pursuit three people were arrested.
One person is outstanding.
The investigation is ongoing.
