Aldi is urging customers to claim a “full refund” on a popular product due to a potential health risk. The budget brand has pulled a freezer favourite from sale after discovering some packs of Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns contain an undeclared allergen (sesame) and duck meat, which were mistakenly omitted from the product’s packaging.

The supermarket chain confirmed: “This may present a health risk to anyone with a sesame allergy.” Product recalls are issued by retailers for various reasons, with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) regularly broadcasting such warnings.

Explaining further, the FSA stated: “Aldi is recalling the above product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.”

  • Product details: Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns.
  • Pack Size: 8 Pack.
  • Barcode: 4061463842909.
  • Best Before Date : All.
