Wapping Wharf will mark the start of this year’s Christmas festivities with a night of local music, food and drink from independent retailers, late-night shopping and entertainment.
And it will be bringing Father Christmas and his elves to the area on Thursday, November 28, for one night only, with live music from Bristol’s The Ambling Band.
The night includes festive food and drink offerings from the likes of Junction, Seven Lucky Gods, The Bristol Cheesemonger, and Tare Bar.
While Bagelry Box will provide festive bagels, Salt & Malt a Christmas turkey schnitzel burger, beetroot-cured trout gravlax bowls from Loki Poke, a pannacotta party, satsuma-peeling contest and winter cocktails from Box-E, and plenty more seasonal food and drink from other brands, too.
There will be late-night shopping across many of Wapping Wharf‘s independent shops, with some staying open to 8pm.
Stuart Hatton, managing director at Umberslade, the developer behind Wapping Wharf, said: “The annual festive celebrations are always a real highlight in our calendar, and it provides a brilliant opportunity for the amazing independent community to come together to show off all of their festive fare, whilst bringing a great evening of family friendly entertainment to Wapping Wharf and the people of Bristol.
“We can’t wait to kick off the best time of the year and celebrate with everyone!”
