Winter is officially here, as temperatures are expected to plummet to below freezing this week – and flurries of snow could be seen in Bristol as soon as tomorrow.
Weather forecasts from MetCheck predict that the white stuff could start falling from the sky in the early hours of Tuesday morning (November 19), as temperatures drop from around 11°C at midnight, to just 2°C by 4am.
And by 10am, around 3cm of snow an hour could be coming down – although this is expected to clear by about 2pm, with some sun possibly even peeking out later in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain bitterly cold, however, reaching highs of just 3°C on Tuesday, while Wednesday’s temperatures are not expected to go much higher, with highs of 5°C. Wind gusts are also expected to reach 23mph on Tuesday, making it feel even colder.
