Uber Eats customers did, according to the food delivery company’s sixth annual Uber Eats Cravings Report, which tracked 2024 purchases that were popular, surprising and a bit wacky.

Tequila was the most popular booze ordered last year, but vodka — specifically, the Tito’s brand — has taken over in 2024. Sangria was a surprising inclusion this year.

The report also said driver tips this year were highest per trip on Oct. 14, the day the moon passed in front of the sun.

As for the most ordered items? Burrito bowls took the top spot followed by french fries, chicken nuggets, chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and cheeseburgers. Macaroni and cheese, boneless wings, pepperoni pizza and fried rice rounded out the top 10.

Unique food combos — in addition to scallops and boiled eggs and fajitas and French toast — were fried fish sticks and green tea, pepperoni pizza and anchovies, and orange creamsicle and tajin.

Interesting non-food items that were ordered together included Fujifilm Mini Instant Film and an Oral-B soft toothbrush, as well as a grey mesh laundry bag and an acne pimple patch.

Some of the most popular delivery requests in the U.S. included “no onion,” “no tomato,” “extra sauce,” “spicy,” and “well done.”
